liblog-log4perl-perl software package provides Perl port of the widely popular log4j logging package, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblog-log4perl-perl
liblog-log4perl-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblog-log4perl-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblog-log4perl-perl *
You will get with liblog-log4perl-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
